A joint personnel had to close down 16 business places in Lubang Buaya area, Cipayung, East Jakarta, on Thursday (12/24) evening.

Lubang Buaya Urban Village Head Dede Syaefulloh expressed, they had exceeded the set operational time limit, precisely up to 10 PM. It had violated the Governor's Call number 17/2020 on PSBB tightening during the Christmas and New Year holidays, operating hours for offices, shopping centers and business premises are limited to 7 PM.

"We previously had socialized the policy to all residents in order to obey the rules, which aims to minimize the spread of COVID-19 transmission," he expressed.

He explained, those 16 business places consisted of nine stalls, five cafes and two fruit juice stalls. They were netted from Jalan Raya Pondok Gede Lubang Buaya.

"Luckily there is no protest action from the business owners during the operation," he told.

To curb them, his side involved 52 joint personnel of urban village, army/police, FKDM, LMK, Formapel, Pokdar Kamtibmas, FKPPI and PPSU.

"Alhamdulillah everything went smoothly without any interruption," he stated.
